We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Works Scheduler to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping projects on track by delivering optimised scheduling and programming from initial conversion right through to final delivery.
You’ll be the go-to person for ensuring timelines are realistic, resources are allocated efficiently, and the entire process runs smoothly. If this sounds like yourself, we would love to hear from you!


Key Responsibilities
 
  • Coordinate day-to-day scheduling and forecasting of workloads for Civil and ITS maintenance
  • Ensure Work Order details align with allocated resources and are achievable, optimising sequencing to minimise customer impacts.
  • Develop and maintain programs for Civil Maintenance, ITS Maintenance,
  • Ensure all Performance Criteria related jobs are scheduled and delivered on time, in line with contractual obligations.
  • Regularly review Work Order status to ensure that activities are completed on time
  • Contribute to planning analysis in scheduling and dispatching work allocations.
  • Develop contingency plans and implement corrective actions to address with performance deviations
  • Develop strong relationships with:
    • Delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of all Work Orders
    • Environmental team to understand work, client and NSW environmental standards and regulations to deliver and schedule works in appropriate manner and time frames.
    • Asset Team to ensure successful management of assets and completing defects identified from the asset inspections
    • Customer and Stakeholder teams to understand customer obligations.
  • Contribute to planning activities which may include undertaking research and document preparation ensuring information is accurate.
  • To report all incidents to team lead in a timely manner.
  • Safeguards company assets under their control

Key Selection Criteria

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of:
  • 2-3 years minimum experience working in a similar role 
  • Previous industry experience necessary
  • Demonstrated understanding of Road and ITS Maintenance systems and Network works delivery
  • Skilled at effectively balancing workloads and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines
  • Enjoys working collaboratively with people and thrives in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience in Scheduling Tools
  • Microsoft Office, Excel and Word experience is essential
