Job Description
Due to a strong pipeline of work, we’re looking for an additional Site Engineer to join our pipelines team based at our new Pakenham site, working on a range of water & sewerage projects throughout the Southeast (predominantly). We’re looking for people who enjoy working on complex infrastructure projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will be provided with all necessary support for you to achieve success in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out per the design and specifications
  • Monitor site progress, ensure construction compliance in the field, working closely with site supervision and subcontractors
  • With support from Project Engineers, management of project schedules, updating production plans and working to weekly and monthly schedules
  • Assist with the development of Scope of Works and contracts for sub-contractors, managing and approvals of variations
  • Attend and participate in HAZOPs, SiD reviews, CHAIR’s and other workshops as required

Key Selection Criteria

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of:
 
  • A degree level qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in a site engineering role
  • Understanding of project financial management, forecasting, procurement, design and contracts management functions
  • A solid performer, with professional acumen and exceptional communication skills
  • Adopting and driving Our Living Safely Culture
