Job Description
As the Company’s Airports team continues to expand, we are now looking to hire an additional two Project Engineer’s based on site at Tullamarine, to oversee the delivery of various programs of work.
Key Responsibilities
Provide vital support to the Project Manager in all project-related duties.
Manage and promote a strong HSE culture, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and striving for the highest safety standards.
Contribute to project programming, updates, and reporting, ensuring milestones are achieved on time.
Implement and manage the company's management systems to deliver exceptional project outcomes, focusing on defect-free completion.
Support the Project Manager in determining labour requirements and ensuring all staff are inducted and trained appropriately.
Manage subcontractors to achieve project goals related to program, cost, quality and HSE.
Ensure projects adhere to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities.
Coordinate with designers, engineers, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues and conflicts.
About You:
You will be a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer with a strong understanding of construction processes and a passion for delivering excellence. You will possess:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in a site engineering or project engineer role in the civil construction sector
Excellent knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
