Key Responsibilities
To complete carpentry, work such as constructing timber access ramps and platforms
To complete home modification jobs such as installing grab rails, balustrade rails, hand-held showers, lever tapware, magnetic door catches, etc.
To complete general handyman repairs - for example, carpentry, plastering, painting, and door repairs.
To complete services in line with our standards as per the job instructions and within the time allocated.
To record information and photos in our booking software
To maintain company vehicles and equipment in good working order
To represent the company professionally
Key Selection Criteria The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of:
Carpentry skills: To be a qualified carpenter with knowledge of constructing ramps and platforms.
Handyman: Be competent in completing general maintenance and repairs around residential properties
Customer service focused: Do a good job, be nice and easy to deal with.
Communication: Given the demographics of our clients, it is important to communicate clearly, patiently and with respect.
Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail to ensure work is completed to a high standard.
Time Management: To complete jobs within the set time frame
Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and work collaboratively with team members.
