Role Overview
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Traffic Controllers (TCI) and Traffic Management Implementers (TMI1) to join our growing workforce across multiple regions.
This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who are safety-focused, adaptable, and capable of working in fast-paced environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic and protection of workers, pedestrians, and road users across a variety of work sites.
With high demand for projects across all regions, we are actively recruiting Traffic Controllers for immediate deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS)
- Direct traffic using stop/slow bats and/or other control devices
- Set up, maintain, and pack down traffic control sites in accordance with regulations
- Ensure the safety of road users, pedestrians, and site personnel at all times
- Monitor site conditions and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Respond quickly to changing traffic conditions and site hazards
- Adhere to all OH&S requirements, policies, and procedures
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism when interacting with the public
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience working as a Traffic Controller and/or Traffic Management Implementer
- Strong understanding of traffic management procedures and safety requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team
- Excellent communication skills and situational awareness
- Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A proactive attitude and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
Requirements
- Valid Traffic Control (TCI) and/or Traffic Management Implementer (TMI1) tickets
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
- Previous experience in traffic control (highly preferred)
- Availability for immediate start
