Digital Programe Manager

Melbourne | Hybrid

We are seeking a Digital Delivery Lead to join a public sector organisation and support the delivery of a complex digital portfolio.

This role is less about running individual projects and more about owning delivery across a broader portfolio making sure things are planned properly, dependencies are managed, and projects are actually moving in the right direction.

You'll be working closely with the CIO and overseeing a small team of PMs and Scrum Masters, helping bring structure, clarity, and consistency across a range of IT and data initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing delivery across multiple IT projects
  • Managing the bigger picture including timelines, dependencies, risks, resourcing
  • Supporting PMs and Scrum Masters day-to-day
  • Working with stakeholders to keep priorities aligned
  • Managing escalations and keeping leadership in the loop
  • Keeping vendors on track and accountable
  • Helping improve how delivery is done (process, Agile, etc.)

What they're looking for

  • Someone who's worked across complex IT environments (integration-heavy is ideal)
  • Experience with platforms like Salesforce or similar ecosystems
  • Understanding of APIs / ETL / how systems talk to each other
  • Strong stakeholder skills this is a big part of the role
  • Comfortable coming into an environment where things aren't always perfectly defined

It's a great role for someone who likes sitting across the detail but also keeping an eye on the bigger picture, and who's happy to step in and add value pretty quickly.
