Finance Analyst - Business Facing Role | $106k + Super | Hybrid (Melbourne)
We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join a collaborative Business Performance & Analytics team, supporting the organisation with insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and decision?ready reporting.
This role suits someone who enjoys working closely with the business, understands the story behind the numbers, and wants to contribute to improving how financial information is used across the organisation.
You'll be supported by a manager who values clear communication, sets realistic expectations, and encourages open discussion and continuous improvement.
What you'll be responsible for
- Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis
- Providing clear variance analysis and financial commentary to support decision?making
- Supporting budgeting and financial planning activities with business stakeholders
- Building, maintaining, and improving financial models and reports
- Contributing to process and system improvements across finance and reporting
- Assisting with month?end activities and ad hoc analysis as required
What we're looking for
- 3-5 years' experience in a Finance Analyst or Management Accounting role
- CA or CPA qualified, or currently studying
- Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and large dataset analysis
- Experience with Power BI or other analytics tools
- A sound understanding of financial and management accounting principles
- A collaborative working style and the ability to communicate clearly with non?finance stakeholders
