About the Role

This is a key digital content role within a large-scale community and infrastructure organisation, responsible for managing and evolving a high-traffic customer engagement platform and supporting broader website content strategy.

You will take ownership of digital content governance, publishing workflows and user experience across key channels, ensuring content is accessible, consistent and aligned to organisational objectives.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and working across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift.

  • Lead the delivery and evolution of a major digital engagement platform used by the community

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital content strategies aligned to customer and organisational needs
  • Manage end-to-end content publishing including creation, editing, approvals and publishing workflows
  • Maintain and improve content governance frameworks, standards and processes
  • Oversee content calendars, ensuring alignment with communications priorities and campaigns
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including IT, communications and business units
  • Support the delivery of website and digital content across multiple channels
  • Use data and insights to improve user experience and content performance
  • Provide guidance and capability uplift to content contributors across the business
  • Support incident communications and out-of-hours content updates where required

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver high-quality digital content that meets accessibility, usability and brand standards
  • Ensure content is consistent, accurate and aligned to customer needs
  • Maintain and improve content governance systems and processes
  • Provide reporting and insights on content performance and engagement metrics
  • Support continuous improvement of digital channels and user experience
  • Contribute to training and capability development across the organisation

About You

  • Extensive experience in digital content management, ideally in complex or regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of website content strategy, governance and publishing processes
  • Experience working with content management systems (Drupal preferred) and tools such as ServiceNow
  • Confident using analytics tools such as Google Analytics to inform decisions
  • Strong writing, editing and communication skills with attention to detail
  • Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
  • Able to adapt quickly in environments with shifting priorities and changing leadership
  • A collaborative, pragmatic and down-to-earth approach with a sense of humour and flexibility
