We are seeking a passionate and motivated Career Advisor to join our dynamic team working across, Narre Warren, Cranbourne and Pakenham sites, this full-time position plays a key role in supporting participants to achieve lasting employment outcomes.
About the Role You will work closely with employers and participants to create life-changing opportunities. You’ll identify, develop, and maintain strong employer relationships, helping match candidates to meaningful, inclusive roles that lead to sustainable employment outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:
Identify and address participants vocational and non-vocational barriers to employment and career objectives
Developing and implementing marketing strategies to generate new employment opportunities
Provide employers with recruitment advice and workforce solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to effectively job match participants to vacancies
Support participants in developing employability skills, including communication, time management, resume writing and interview techniques
Delivering ongoing post-placement support, including workplace mentoring and training coordination
Building relationships with community organisations and stakeholders
Ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with IEA program standards
