Operate, monitor and maintain the leachate treatment plant
Assist the project/process engineers in undertaking improvement and optimisation initiatives
Carry out water sampling with a high degree of care to prevent cross contamination
Maintain asset integrity by regular inspections, services and testing to ensure maximum uptime
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure contract and regulatory obligations are met
Undertake routine maintenance activities including supervision of work orders and maintaining a spare parts inventor
Engaging and supervising contractors for works conducted on sit
A proven record of problem solving, diagnosing issues and facilitating repairs
Experience in water treatment operations - preferred but not essential
A working knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and components
Previous experience in water sampling and/or testing is highly regarded
A willingness to work overtime, weekends and be a part of an ‘on call’ roster if required
Forklift experience and licence - preferred but not essential
Be able to pass a criminal history check and Department of Defence baseline security clearance.
