Lead, grow and mentor your own team
The lead for Protective Coatings and provide operational and technical supervision of works performed.
Facilitate job start-ups and review jobs for compliance permits and documentation required.
Ensure that staff, tools, equipment and other resources for jobs are available when required to meet customer expectations and to deliver on contract requirements
Monitor and lead team performance of all onsite staff including our employees, labour hire and contractors.
Ensure that all Protective Coatings team members are adequately trained and qualified to perform their duties in a safe, competent and responsible manner to Veolia and client standards.
Manage Our assets in line with our policy and processes; ensuring all daily operational checks are completed and documented.
Maintain strong relationships with all of our company and client stakeholders to deliver a high performance of contract obligations.
Identifying and defining resourcing requirements (labour, equipment, third party) to safely and efficiently complete project works.
Have a background in blasting and industrial painting
Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating or demonstrated industry experience
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience on major projects.
Experience coordinating and leading projects and works.
Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a high regard for customer focus and safety.
Willingness for development and progression opportunities.
Certificate III in Business (Frontline Management), or equivalent workplace
