What you'll be responsible for
- Corrosion maintenance and painting work on municipal water treatment equipment
- Preventive maintenance and fixing defects as they come up
- Using tablets and apps to log jobs and track work
- Planning your own maintenance tasks and managing your workload
- Getting permits sorted and following safety procedures
- Keeping the work area tidy and organised
- Helping out with other site work when needed
- Working with contractors and making sure jobs are done right
- Training apprentices and helping out your teammates
What you'll need to be successful
- Painter trade certificate
- Experience working on heavy equipment
- Good with computers and apps
- Can communicate well with the team and contractors
