Key Responsibilities
Learn and apply correct floor preparation techniques, including:
Concrete grinding
Moisture barrier application
Subfloor repairs
Surface cleaning and preparation
Assist with and eventually perform installation of levelling cement compounds.
Install a wide range of flooring products, including:
Commercial vinyl (sheet & tiles)
Carpet
Timber and laminate flooring
Vinyl planks and hybrid flooring
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area.
Work alongside qualified tradesmen and follow instructions to develop trade skills.
Use hand tools, power tools, and flooring equipment safely and correctly.
Travel to various job sites as required.
About You:
Strong willingness to learn and develop trade skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing the apprenticeship.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely on active job sites.
