About the Opportunity You’ll join a skilled operations team dedicated to the safe and efficient transfer of sewerage through critical infrastructure. With structured training, mentoring, and nationally recognised qualifications, you’ll gain the expertise to manage complex pumping and transfer systems, ensuring reliable flow and environmental compliance. This pathway will equip you to become a fully competent Sewerage Transfer Operator.
Operating sewerage and water network assets
Performing safe isolations and restorations
Supporting fault?finding and corrective action’s
Responding to alarms and system changes
Participating in emergency and incident response
Conducting asset inspections and care activities
Identifying hazards and contributing to safety improvements
Working with internal stakeholders on maintenance and capital works
Key Selection Criteria The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of:
Strong problem?solving and analytical thinking.
Curiosity and willingness to learn
Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to work independently and escalate when required
Understanding of safe work practices
Basic digital literacy and willingness to learn SCADA systems
Willingness to obtain an electrical connect/disconnect licence
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical check
Willingness to undergo a Police Check
Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol screening
