Position Overview

The Warehouse Operator - Payments role is responsible for testing, cleaning, and commissioning payments devices and equipment in line with service level agreements, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities
 
  • Perform routine servicing, testing, cleaning, calibration, and fine-tuning of machines, devices, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Replace or repair faulty components as needed to restore full functionality.
  • Clean products and equipment to meet customer quality standards and expectations.
  • Carry out assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with operational procedures and timelines.
  • Conduct minor repairs to maintain or restore units to an operational state.
  • Proactively report unresolved or potential issues to supervisors that may impact production schedules or service delivery.



Key Selection Criteria

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate and provide evidence of:
  • Actively adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures, including those related to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) and Information Security.
  • Promptly identify, address, and report any hazards, incidents, accidents, or injuries in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Support policy compliance and provide guidance to colleagues, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Prioritise safety in all work and use PPE correctly, reporting any faults.
  • Follow lawful instructions and respect Company property.
  • Only perform tasks for which you are certified or trained, competent, or under proper supervision if still in training.
  • Be open to ideas that support continuous improvement and contribute to better ways of working.
  • Carry out tasks in an environmentally sustainable and responsible manner.

Position Requirements
 
  • Experience in technical software implementation
  • Competency with computer hardware and related systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Willingness to work in a physical and hands-on environment
  • • Ability to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance
Desirable
 
  • Knowledge or experience in electrical or electronics maintenance industry
  • Background in warehouse or logistics environments
